ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Garland County, Arkansas will receive sealed bids at the Garland County Courthouse, 501 Ouachita Avenue, Room 200, Hot Springs, Arkansas, 71901, for Garland County Bridge Improvements — Pearcy Rd. Bridge Repair, Bid: Garland County Bridge Improvements —Pearcv Rd. Bridge Repair, until 1:00 PM CST, on the 7th of November 2023 at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The construction will consist of approximately the following:
Demolition, temporary falsework, bridge jacking, straddle bent construction, riprap embankment protection, erosion control, stormwater pollution prevention, and traffic control at the Pearcy Rd. Bridge in Garland Co.

A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of Garland County negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value), or satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total of bid shall be submitted with each bid.

Each bidder must be in compliance with the requirements of Act 150 of 1965, effective June 9, 1965, subject to any subsequent amendments, which is the current Arkansas State Licensing Law for Contractors.

Garland County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in bidding.

Bids may be held by Garland County for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of determining the successful bidder prior to awarding of the contract.
