NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Sealed bids will be received until 2:00PM, January 12, 2023 in the Conference Room, Division of Building Authority, Construction Section, 501 Woodlane, Suite 101N, Little Rock, Arkansas for the following:
Construction of a Recreation Center Addition at the Southeast Arkansas Human Development Center located in Warren, Arkansas for the Arkansas Department of Human Services PR #7102215
There will be a Pre-Bid Conference held at 10:00AM on January 4, 2023 at #1 Center Circle Drive, Warren, Arkansas 71671. The State reserves the right to schedule additional meetings.
BID DOCUMENTS: The official version of the complete set of Contract documents should be examined and obtainable from Stocks Mann Architects, 401 West Capitol, Suite 402, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201. Prime bidders will be furnished 3 sets of bidding documents at Southern Reprographics, 901 West 7th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201 (501)372-4011. Bidders must deposit a check in the amount of $150.00 Per set, payable to Stocks Mann Architects, PLC. Deposits will be refunded to all prime bidders who return bidding documents in good condition within 10 days after the opening of bids. A bidder receiving a contract award may retain the bidding documents and the Bidder's deposit will be refunded. Prime Bidders requiring additional sets and Sub-bidders may purchase bidding documents through Southern Reprographics. Shipping and delivery charges will be in addition to the deposit and are non-refundable. Prime Bidders may also obtain bidding documents in PDF format through Southern Reprographics at www.sriplanroom.com for a non- refundable fee as pre-determined by the level of access.

A bid security in the amount of 5% shall accompany each bid, if the bid is in excess of $50,000.00.
Pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. § 22-9-203, the State encourages all small, minority, and women business enterprises to submit bids for capital improvements. Encouragement is also made to all general contractors that in the event they subcontract portions of their work, consideration is given to the identified groups.
The State reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities.
