Separate sealed bids for the construction of the ARDOT Job 040855, School Sidewalks (Paris) (TAP-20) (S) will be received by The City of Paris at the office of City Hall, 100 North Express Street, Paris, Arkansas 72855 until 2:00 PM Central Time on Tuesday, May 30th, 2023, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
The SCOPE OF WORK shall include the construction of sidewalks, underground storm drainage, curbs and gutters.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, consisting of all required notifications and certifications, Advertisement for Bids, Instruction to Bidders, Bid and Bid Bond, Agreement, General Conditions, Payment Bond, Performance Bond, Specifications, and Addenda, may be examined at the following locations: Crafton Tull & Associates, 65 Bradley Cove Road, Russellville, Arkansas 72802
Bids submitted using SPECIFICATIONS AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS obtained from any other source than the ones listed below will be subject to rejection. Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained at the office of Crafton Tull & Associates, Inc. located at 65 Bradley Cove Road, P.O. Box 10189, Russellville, Arkansas 72812 upon payment of $ 50.00 for each set (plus postage and handling, if mailed), none of which will be refunded.
The City of Paris hereby notifies all bidders that this contract is subject to applicable labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws and other federal laws including the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938. The Work Hours Act of 1962 and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 also apply as well as the “Buy America” provisions of 23 CFR § 635.410. Also, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) shall have the maximum opportunity to participate in this project, therefore the DBE requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 shall apply to this agreement.
