The County Judge and the Quorum Court of Stone County are soliciting General Contractors to submit bids for a 60-bed 15,591 square foot jail housing addition to the existing Stone County Jail and Sheriff’s Office with 556 square feet of remodeled space.
PROJECT LOCATION: 1009 Sheriff’s Lane, Mountain View, Arkansas 72560.
OWNER: Stone County, Arkansas OWNER’S REPRESENTATIVE: Stone County Judge, Stacey Avey
ARCHITECT: HMN Architects, Inc. 7400 W. 110th St., Suite 200, Overland Park, KS 66210, PH: 913-451-9075
CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT: Bids will be received for the following Work:
1. General Contract (all trades consisting of the following prime contracts) Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, Detention Equipment and Security electronics.
BID SUBMITTAL AND OPENING
Owner will receive sealed bids until the bid time and date at the location indicated below. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows:
1. Bid Date: October 17th, 2023.
2. Bid Time: 2:00 p.m. CST
3. Location: The Stone County Judge’s office at 107 W. Main Street, Suite C, Mountain View, AR 72560.
4. Bids will thereafter be publicly opened and read aloud.
A mandatory (for all prospective General Contractors) pre-bid meeting will be held on September 21st , 2023 at the Stone County Court Complex, 211 Blanchard Ave. Mountain View, Arkansas at 10:00 a.m. CST.
