North Little Rock Wastewater Treatment Committee is accepting sealed bids titled “18th and 22nd Street Milling and Overlay” and addressed to Scott Kerby, P.E. at the Engineering Training Room of the North Little Rock Wastewater Treatment Committee (NLRWTC), 7400 Baucum Pike, P.O. Box 17898, North Little Rock, AR 72117 until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2023, and then at said office, all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The scope of the project consists of Full width Milling, 6’ edge milling, and overlay of two streets within the City of North Little Rock.
Copies of the Plans and Contract Documents may be obtained by contacting Marolyn Dorman at the office of the North Little Rock Wastewater Administration Building, 7400 Baucum Pike, North Little Rock, AR 72117.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President’s Executive Order 11246, as amended. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors under this order are explained in the specifications.
Since this job will require an Arkansas Contractor’s License, all Bidders shall conform with Act 150 of 1965, as amended, to the requirements of the Arkansas State Licensing Law for Contractors. Attention to Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed.
Proposals will be considered on the basis of cost, the bidder’s financial responsibility, his equipment and his past performance in completing similar work. A bid bond at the amount of five (5) percent of bid proposal shall be submitted with the bid proposal. No Bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of opening thereof. North Little Rock Wastewater reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities and to accept the proposal deemed to be for their best interest.
