EASTERN DISTRICT HISTORIC COURTHOUSE
WINDOW/DOOR REPAIR AND TUCKPOINTING
BERRYVILLE, ARKANSAS
Separate sealed bid proposals for the Retuckpointing of the Exterior of the Historic Courthouse, and a sealed bid for the Repair and painting of the windows and reconstruction of new window in the tower of the Historic Carroll County Eastern District Courthouse, Eureka Springs, Arkansas will be Received until 2:00 p.m. January 31, 2023 at the County Judges Office in the Carroll County Eastern District Courthouse, 210 W. Church Street, Berryville, Arkansas. At the above stated place and time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the above stated closing time will be returned to the Bidder unopened.
Copies of the project manual, drawings and other contract documents are on file for inspection at the office of the Architects, Robert D. Berry, Architects, 110 N. Main St., Eureka Springs, Arkansas, 479-253-2976 and at the County Judge's Office, County Courthouse, 210 W. Church, Berryville, Arkansas, 870-423-2967.
Proposals must be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the bid (only if the bid is greater than $20,000), made payable to Carroll County. Bidders must comply with requirements of the Contractor's Licensing Law of the State of Arkansas, ACA
17-25-101 et seq. All bonds on this project shall comply with Arkansas Statutory Performance and Payment Bond Law, ACA 18-44-501 et seq. This project does require that all work conform to the Secretary of Interior Standards for Historic Preservation. This project has a strict timeline on completion.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities. The Owner may hold the bids for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of the Bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders prior to awarding of the Contract.
No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days subsequent to the opening of bids, without the consent of the Owner.
