INVITATION TO BID
Separate sealed BIDS for the PROPOSED WEST AREA CLOSURE AND POND IMPROVEMENTS CONSTRUCTION, will be received by CLARK COUNTY at the CLARK COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 401 CLAY STREET, ARKADELPHIA, ARKANSAS, 71923 until 2:00 p.m. local time, on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at which time bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bid opening will be in the Clark County Judge’s office in the Courthouse Building. Project is to be completed within 120 calendar days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed.

Electronic copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS will be provided by request by emailing terri.watkins@terracon.com . Paper copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained at the office of TERRACON CONSULTANTS, INC. located at 25809 Interstate 30 South, Bryant, Arkansas 72022 upon payment of $150.00 for each set. Return of documents is not required, and amount paid for documents is not refundable. Partial sets are not available. Please allow a one-day notice for in-person pick-up of documents.
The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in the bids received, to evaluate bids, and to accept any bid or bids which, in his opinion, may be in the best interest of the OWNER.
Each BIDDER must deposit with his Bid, security in the form of a Bid Bond or Cashier Check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid payable to Clark County. No BIDDER may withdraw his Bid within sixty (60) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment including Equal Employment Opportunity. BIDDERS shall be licensed as required by statutes and the rules and regulations of the Arkansas Contractor’s Licensing Board.
