CITY OF HARRISON, ARKANSAS
Invitation to Bid
The City of Harrison is requesting bids for a Gasoline & Diesel Annual Contract. The Contract Term will be for February 1, 2023 through February 29, 2024. Copies of the Bid Documents may be obtained from the Harrison Department of Public Works by calling 870-741-3434 or by emailing wphillips@harrisonar.gov .
Bids must be submitted on the forms included with the Bid Documents and such forms shall not be removed from the remainder of the Bid Documents. Unsigned bids will be rejected. Questions regarding this bid should be directed to the City Engineer at 870-741-3434.
Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked as “Bid – Gasoline & Diesel Annual Contract”. Bids will be received at the Mayor’s Office in City Hall until 2:00 PM (local time), TUESDAY, JANUARY 24, 2023 at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read in the Council Chamber adjacent to the lobby. The physical address for City Hall is 118 Industrial Park Road, Harrison, AR 72601. Bids received after the prescribed date and time will not be read and will be returned to the bidder unopened. Facsimile transmittals WILL NOT be accepted.
The City encourages all qualified small, minority, and women owned business enterprises to bid on and receive contracts for goods, services and construction.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities deemed to be in the best interest of the City. The City further reserves the right to withhold the awarding of the contract for a period not to exceed 30 days after the receipt of bids.
