The City of Waldron, AR will receive sealed bids for the AR Hwy 80 Water Main Relocation. The project consists of approximately 289 linear feet of proposed 6” DR-14 PVC water main, which will tie into the existing
6” water mains located along State Highway 80. The project is being funded by the City of Waldron.
The City of Waldron will own, operate, and maintain the proposed 289 linear feet of 6” water main.
Bids shall be on a unit price basis.
The City of Waldron will receive Bids until 11:00 AM Local Time on January 31, 2023 at City Hall, 123 Poplar St., Waldron, AR 72958. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud immediately after specified closing time. All interested parties are invited to attend.

Bidders must enter the addenda numbers in the Proposal to verify receipt.
Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the City of Waldron in an amount not less than 5 percent of the amount bid.

The attention of the Bidder is directed to the applicable federal and state requirements and conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under this Contract.
The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject bids and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which shall not exceed beyond 90 days from the bid opening date.
