REQUEST FOR BIDS
The City of Pine Bluff is requesting bids on an RFP to evaluate the effectiveness of the Group Violence Intervention Programs. The City of Pine Bluff is looking for a research agency to develop empirical measures of gang activity, homicide, and group violence in Pine Bluff. The role of the researcher will be to develop and/or improve measures of group violence, including homicide and gun violence, in Pine Bluff. The research team will work on two fronts: evaluating the utility of administrative data for tracking group violence and conducting an anonymous youth survey to understand the prevalence and antecedents of group violence.
The main points of emphasis shall be:
• Evaluate existing administrative data and data collection efforts to identify information gaps
• Provide recommendations of additional information that may need to be collected by law enforcement and/or court personnel
• Collect, analyze, and report on group violence based on current data available.
Sealed bids will be accepted until July 31, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Pine Bluff City Clerk’s Office-200 East 8th Ave., Pine Bluff, AR 71601 and clearly marked “GVI Programs Research”.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
