PUBLIC WORKS ANNUAL
MATERIAL & STREET REPAIR CONTRACTS ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The City of Harrison, Department of Public Works will accept sealed bids for annual contracts (March 1, 2023 thru February 29, 2024) for various street repair materials and services. Two separate annual contracts are included in this notice:
1) 2023 Concrete & Aggregate Materials Contract
2) 2023 Street Overlay, Milling, Repair Services
Contract and bid documents are on file and may be examined at the Public Works Facility located at 303 North Third Street, Harrison, AR. Copies of the documents may be obtained from the Public Works Facility upon request. Requests for bid documents should be emailed to wphillips@harrisonar.gov .
Bids shall be completed on official bid sheets included with the Bid Documents. Bids shall be sealed, clearly marked on the envelope as a bid for the appropriate contract, the time for opening of bids, and the name of the bidder. Bids will be received in the Mayor’s Office, 118 Industrial Park Road, Harrison, AR 72601 until 2:00 p.m. (local time), February 21, 2023. Bids will be publicly opened and read out loud at that time. Bids received after the prescribed time and date will be returned to the Bidder unopened.

The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in the proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the City. The City further reserves the right to withhold the awarding of the bid for a period not to exceed 60 days after receipt of the bids.
