Sealed bids from licensed contractors for construction alterations to Crossett Youth Center, 301 North Martin Luther King Drive, Crossett, Arkansas 71635, will be received by the Crossett City Mayor Crystal Marshall, at 560 Main Street, Crossett, Arkansas 71635 until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 and then at the Mayor’s office, 560 Main Street, Crossett, Arkansas 71635 publicly opened and read aloud. A pre-bid conference is set for Monday, February 27, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the project site.
The scope of work involves the renovation of the Crossett Youth Center in the City of Crossett. The proposed project includes removing and replacing flat roof, removing and replacing windows/doors, removing and replacing floor and ceiling tiles, install handicap accessibility to entrance and clean HVAC systems. Any ensuing contract shall include the Instruction to Bidders, ACEDP Grant Requirements, Bid and Contract Forms, Plans, Specifications and other contract documents which may be examined at Trull-Hollensworth Architects, Inc., 804 North Jackson, Magnolia, Arkansas 71753 and the Owner’s office, 560 Main Street, Crossett, Arkansas 71635. Qualified Sub- contractors and suppliers may obtain sets by paying the cost of reproduction and handling, non- refundable, at the rate of $3.00 per drawings and $.25 per specification page. Electronic Drawings and Specifications can be purchased for a cost of $50.00, non-refundable. You can receive Drawings and Specifications through Drop Box at no cost.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bids within 30 days after the date of bid opening and must provide bid bonds in the amount of five percent (5%) of the prime bid amount. All bidding processes shall be in accordance with State Law.
