LEGAL NOTICE
The City of Conway is seeking statements of qualifications and performance data from prospective consulting firms to provide environmental engineering and support services for the City of Conway’s Class 1 Sanitary Landfill (Permit No. 0252-S1-R1) pursuant to State of Arkansas Procurement Laws and Rules, Subchapter 8, Procurement of Professional Services, paragraph R1:19-11-802. The landfill is situated on 630 acres with a permitted disposal area of 93 acres. The permitted life of the landfill is estimated at 47 years and currently takes in around 250 tons of solid waste per day.
NOTE: Firms shall not provide a fee schedule.
Firms are encouraged to register and submit qualifications online with ARBid at https://arkansas.ionwave.net . If assistance is needed, please contact the Conway Purchasing Manager via email: Jamie.brice@conwayarkansas.gov . If submitting paper qualifications, they must be submitted to the City of Conway Procurement Office located at 1111 Main Street, Conway, AR 72032. All paper submissions must be clearly labeled “Proposal 2023-2006 Conway Landfill Professional Services, ATTN: Jamie Brice”.
All sealed Qualifications must be received no later than 2:00 p.m., Tuesday January 9, 2024, local time.
No vendor may withdraw his/her submittal for a period of thirty (30) days following the opening of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids or portions thereof and to waive all formalities therewith. The City of Conway is not responsible for lost or misguided submittals.
