NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE A REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR ON-CALL PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES
RFQ No. 930-RFQ-2402
The Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment, Division of Environmental Quality is soliciting qualifications from engineering design consultants for inclusion on a Qualified Design Professionals List, to provide Engineering design services as defined by the TSS/Division of Building Authority Minimum Standards and Criteria (MSC) for Abandoned Coal Mine Reclamation Projects located Western Arkansas.
Arkansas Energy and Environment is seeking a qualified firm to:
• Provide geomorphic and professional engineering design services associated with the reclamation of abandoned coal mined land in western Arkansas, where the total cost of the reclamation work will not exceed $2 million.
A detailed request for qualifications (RFQ) package will be provided to interested parties outlining the submittal requirements and selection methodology. Responses received for this RFQ will be used to screen prospective consultants. The Agency reserves the right to negotiate fees on a percentage basis, lump sum basis or an hourly not-to-exceed basis on individual project assignments as appropriate for the contemplated work.
The deadline for submitting detailed responses to this RFQ will be 5 PM CST, September 22, 2023.
