Master Plan Services
The Lake Village Municipal Airport is soliciting Statements of Qualifications for an airport planning consultant with a thorough understanding of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Advisory Circular (AC) 150/5070-6B, to assist the Airport in the preparation of an Airport Layout Plan (ALP) with Narrative.
Services required include all phases and necessary incidental services to assist the Airport in the preparation of an ALP with Narrative to be funded by an FAA Grant. Fee information will not be considered in the selection process and must not be submitted with the statement of qualification. Fees will be negotiated for the project after a consultant has been selected.
A qualification based selection process conforming to FAA Advisory Circular 150/5100-14E will be utilized to select the most qualified firm. Selection criteria will include, but may not be limited to:
1. Capability to perform all aspects of project
2. Familiarity with the area and facility
3. Reputation
4. Recent experience in airport projects
5. Quality of previous airport projects undertaken
6. Consultant Qualifications
7. Ability to meet schedules within budget
Selection will be based on the submittals received. Fees will be negotiated with the selected consultant for the services to be performed. Contracts will be subject to the provisions of Executive Order 11246 (Affirmative Action to Ensure Equal Opportunity) and to the provisions of Department of Transportation Regulations 49 CFR Part 23 (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation).
