ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Separate sealed bids for the CONSTRUCTION OF CLOVERDALE DITCH IMPROVEMENTS will be received by the City of Searcy at Searcy City Hall, 401 W. Arch Ave., Searcy, AR 72143, until May 2, 2024 at 11:00 o’clock A.M., and then at said location publicly opened and read aloud.
Should any bidder wish to submit his bid prior to the time and date of opening either in person, by carrier or by mail, he should submit to the City Hall to the Mayor.
The Instructions for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, Form of Bid Bond, and other Contract Documents may be examined at the following locations:

Copies of the Contract Documents must be obtained at the office of Miller-Newell Engineers, Inc., 510 Third Street, Newport, AR 72112, in order to be placed on the Bidders List. Cost is $50.00 for each set. There shall be no refund of deposit.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
In accordance with Act 150 of 1965, as amended, all bidders shall conform to the requirements of the Arkansas State Licensing Law for Contractors.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held April 25, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at 1615 East Line Road, Building A, Searcy, AR 72143.
