NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Sealed bids will be received until 2:00PM, November 16, 2022 in the Conference Room, Division of Building Authority, Construction Section, 501 Woodlane, Suite 101N, Little Rock, Arkansas for the following:
Replacement of Heat Pumps at the Governor’s Mansion located in Little Rock, Arkansas for the Arkansas Department of Transformation and Shared Services / Division of Building Authority PR #6152301
There will be a mandatory Pre-Bid Conference held at 10:00AM on November 8, 2022 at 1800 Center Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72206. Bidders are asked to meet at the East Gate of the Governor's Mansion on Louisiana Street no later than 10:00AM. Late entries will not be permitted. The State reserves the right to schedule additional mandatory meetings. No bid shall be accepted from any Bidder failing to attend any mandatory meeting(s).
BID DOCUMENTS: The official version of the complete set of Contract documents should be examined and obtainable from Pettit & Pettit Consulting Engineers, Inc., 201 East Markham, Suite 400, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201 (501)374-3731. Bidders must deposit a check in the amount of $100.00 per set, payable to Pettit and Pettit Consulting Engineers, Inc. Deposits will be refunded to all prime bidders who return bidding documents in good condition within 7 days after the opening of bids. Bid documents must be returned in excellent and usable condition to qualify for the return of the deposit.

A bid security in the amount of 5% shall accompany each bid, if the bid is in excess of $50,000.00.
Pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. § 22-9-203, the State encourages all small, minority, and women business enterprises to submit bids for capital improvements. Encouragement is also made to all general contractors that in the event they subcontract portions of their work, consideration is given to the identified groups.
The State reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities.
