NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Sealed bids will be received until 2:00PM, April 2, 2024, at the Division of Building Authority, Construction Section, 501 Woodlane St., Suite 101N, Little Rock, Arkansas for the following:
Repair of Tucker Unit Detention Gates located in Tucker, AR. for the Arkansas Department of Correction. PR #4802302
There will be a mandatory Pre-Bid Conference held at 10:00AM on March 25, 2024, at 2400 State Farm Road, Tucker, AR 72168. All bidders are to meet at the main guarded entrance. The State reserves the right to schedule additional mandatory meetings. No bid shall be accepted from any Bidder failing to attend any mandatory meeting(s).
BID DOCUMENTS: The official version of the complete set of the Contract documents should be examined and are obtainable from Southern Reprographics, 901 West 7th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201, (501) 372-4011. Prime bidders will be furnished three (3) sets of bidding documents. Bidders must deposit a check in the amount of $100.00 per set, payable to Lockeby & Associates. Deposits will be refunded to all prime bidders who return bidding documents in good condition within ten (10) days after the opening of bids. A bidder receiving a contract award may retain the bidding documents and the bidder’s deposit will be refunded. Prime bidders requiring additional sets and sub-bidders may purchase bidding documents.

A bid security in the amount of 5% shall accompany each bid, if the bid is more than $50,000.00.
Pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. § 22-9-203, the State encourages all small, minority, and women business enterprises to submit bids for capital improvements. Encouragement is also made to all general contractors that in the event they subcontract portions of their work, consideration is given to the identified groups.
The State reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities.
