REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES FOR REFURBISHMENT OF RF TOWERS TO SUPPORT THE ARKANSAS WIRELESS
INFORMATION NETWORK
(AWIN) 995-RFQ-2301
ADEM is soliciting responses from qualified consultants to provide basic professional Engineering design services as defined by the TSS Division of Building Authority Minimum Standards and Criteria (MSC) for RF Tower remediation services located at various AWIN tower locations across Arkansas.
Statewide – Remediation of existing AWIN towers across the state. Sites for the AWIN system, due to aging, have developed issues that fall below the acceptable standard for a communication tower site. This project would be for the correction of these issues that have already been identified in site studies. This would include the tower structures as well as other site structures.
A detailed request for qualifications (RFQ) package will be provided to interested parties outlining the submittal requirements and selection methodology. Responses received for this RFQ will be used to screen prospective consultants and select finalist for interview in accordance with the MSC. The Agency reserves the right to award one or more contracts under this solicitation and to negotiate fees on a percentage basis, lump sum basis or an hourly not-to-exceed basis on individual project assignments as appropriate for the contemplated work.
The deadline for submitting detailed responses to this RFQ will be 04:00 pm 03/15/2023.
