Caddo Center Renovation Capital Project (Phase II)
Henderson State University, in accordance with the policies of the Board of Trustees, is soliciting responses from qualified architectural firms to provide design services for the adaptive preservation of the Caddo Center as a one-stop shop for students.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
In this phase, the adaptive use of the Caddo Building shell will allow continuation of the preservation of the historic Caddo Center, provide space for Financial Aid, Student Accounts, Housing, Advising, and Tutoring.
The Caddo Center, a historically significant building, is located on the Henderson State University campus in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. This project is fully funded by the ANCRC grant.
SUBMISSION
Proof of licensure: All firms shall be licensed, or eligible for licensure, in the State of Arkansas. Eligible firms not currently licensed in Arkansas must send a letter to the Arkansas State Board of Architects (501- 682-3171/501-682-3172 fax) stating their intent to respond to an RFQ issued by the Arkansas State University. Include project name, submittal date, and proof of valid NCARB certification in the letter. Consulting and joint venture firms are also required to be licensed by the Arkansas State Board of Architects, Landscape Architects and Interior Designers. Notification to the State Board must be made PRIOR to responding to this solicitation. A copy of either a valid Arkansas license or a letter of intent to the State Board of Architects, Landscape Architects and Interior Designers for all team member firms must be included in the response. The select firm(s) will have 30 days to make application for corporate licensure after they are awarded the contract.
The deadline for responses is 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 29, 2022. Respondents will provide (2) published copies and an electronic copy (PDF format, less than 10mb required file size) to:
