City of Fort Smith, Arkansas
Separate sealed bids for Basin 10 & 14 Capacity Improvements, Phase 3, Project No. 23-07-C1, will be received by the City of Fort Smith, Arkansas, at the Office of the Director of Water Utilities until 11:00 a.m. (Local Time), Thursday, March 14, 2024, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Bids shall be addressed “City of Fort Smith, Water Utilities, 801 Carnall Avenue, Suite 500, Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901” and shall be labeled bid for Basin 10 & 14 Capacity Improvements, Phase 3, Project No. 23-07-C1. Bidders are to include their Arkansas License number on the outside of their sealed bid. Bids shall only be received from registered Bidders.
The project includes approximately 1,300 linear-feet of 24-inch and 100 linear-feet of 12-inch diameter sanitary sewer main, including manholes and all other appurtenances.
Prospective Bidders must download contract documents through Quest Construction Data Network. This can be done via link on www.hawkins-weir.com/bidding-info and/or at www.QuestCDN.com . QuestCDN is a web-based platform for advertisements, bid document distribution, plan holder lists, and all information pertaining to the bid. Prospective Bidders should register at www.QuestCDN.com for a free ‘Regular’ membership. Enter Quest number 8990724 to access bidding information on the search page. There is a $22.00 non-refundable download delivery fee for a PDF copy (electronic) of the bidding documents. Bidders are responsible for any reproduction costs of the purchased contract documents. A Pre-Bid Conference for this project will be held at the City of Fort Smith Water Utilities, located at 801 Carnall Avenue, Room 206, Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901, on March 5, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
All bidders must be licensed under the terms of Act 150 of the 1965 Acts of the Arkansas Legislature, including subsequent amendments, and considered by the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board to be classified as a General Contractor for the classification required to perform the work identified as part of the project.
This publication was paid for by the City of Fort Smith Water Utilities, and the cost of the publication is $ 452.16 per Arkansas Act 954 of 2021.
