BID SOLICITATION
INVITATION FOR BID You are invited to bid on a General Contract for all labor, methods, material and equipment necessary to provide UA Little Rock Coleman Creek Greenway Extension, at 2801 South University Avenue, Little Rock, AR, for the University of Arkansas Little Rock, hereinafter termed Owner; Bid # FB-23-029.
We will have a non-mandatory pre-bid conference on June 1, 2023 at 9:00 A.M. in the UA Little Rock Facilities Management Building Conference Room #205. Sealed Bids will be received until 2:00 P.M., CST on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at the University of Arkansas Little Rock, Procurement Services Building, 2801 South University, Little Rock, AR, 72204, and then will be publicly opened and read aloud. No late bids will be accepted.
The work includes extending the existing trail along in North/South directions along the Coleman Creek to 28th Street, all to be led under one prime contract. The bids shall be on a lump sum basis. A bid bond equal to 5% of the bid amount is required to be submitted with the sealed bid. This solicitation does not commit UA Little Rock to award a contract, to pay costs incurred in the preparation of a proposal in response to this request, or to procure or contract for commodities or services.
UA Little Rock hereby notifies all bidders that this contract is subject to applicable labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws, and other federal laws including the Fair Labor Standards Acts of 1938. The Work Hours Act of 1962 and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 also apply. Buy America provisions apply to this project.
A State of Arkansas Contractor’s License is not required to bid on the project; however, no contractor shall submit a bid prior to submitting an initial application (which does not require a full audit) for licensure, and no construction contract shall be executed until the successful bidder has furnished an appropriate license issued by the State of Arkansas Contractor’s Licensing Board.
