NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Sealed bids will be received until 2:00PM, May 3, 2023, in the Conference Room, Division of Building Authority, Construction Section, 501 Woodlane Drive, Suite 101N, Little Rock, Arkansas for the following:
Construction of Health Services Building at the Arkansas School for the Blind & Visually Impaired and Arkansas School for the Deaf, Little Rock, AR for the Arkansas Department of Education. PR #5002324
There will be a mandatory Pre-Bid Conference held at 10:00 AM on April 27, 2023, at the Arkansas School for the Deaf at 2400 W Markham St, Little Rock, AR. 72205. The meeting will take place inside the tornado shelter adjacent to the football field. The State reserves the right to schedule additional mandatory meetings. No bid shall be accepted from any Bidder failing to attend any mandatory meeting(s).

The Davis-Bacon Wage Rates and other Federal Regulations shall apply to this project. A bid security in the amount of 5% shall accompany each bid, if the bid is more than $50,000.00.
Pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. § 22-9-203, the State encourages all small, minority, and women business enterprises to submit bids for capital improvements. Encouragement is also made to all general contractors that in the event they subcontract portions of their work, consideration is given to the identified groups.
The State reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities.
