MANAGEMENT GENERAL
CONTRACTOR SERVICES
The Wynne School District is soliciting Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) from interested Construction Managers to provide professional Construction Management General Contractor (CMGC) services for the construction of new facilities following the devastating EF-3 tornado that hit Wynne, Arkansas, on March 31, 2023. Wynne High School was destroyed, and Wynne Intermediate School was heavily damaged. The purpose of this Request for Qualifications is to identify a Construction Management company to advance the Wynne School District’s efforts to provide high-quality, safe, and inviting facilities supporting the academic, social, emotional, extra-curricular, and co-curricular needs of our students and staff.
PROJECT SCOPE AND SCHEDULE
Construction of up to 156,000 square feet of a new Wynne High School and associated ancillary projects, including the athletic complex and repair/renovation of Wynne Intermediate School. The total budget for this project is expected to be at most $125 million. The project will be funded with local funds, insurance proceeds, and federal/state funding sources (FEMA/ADEM). The preconstruction phase will begin immediately with a July 1, 2026, projected completion date for all projects.
To be considered, five (5) printed copies of the RFQ must be received by 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at the Office of the Superintendent of Schools, Wynne School District, 1300 Falls Blvd., Wynne, Arkansas 72396. RFQs received after this deadline will be disqualified from consideration.
