The Area Agency on Aging of Southeast Arkansas, Inc. requests Letters of Intent to Bid on delivery of Senior Adult Services to eligible clients in Arkansas, Ashley, Bradley, Chicot, Cleveland, Desha, Grant, Jefferson, and Lincoln Counties of Arkansas.
The project period is July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024. The Area Agency on Aging reserves the right to contract with its contractors for yearly renewal for three additional years without a formal proposal process.
Services will be provided in accordance with rules and regulations of the Older Americans Act, Social Services Block Grant, The United States Department of Agriculture, and the Arkansas Department of Human Services - Division of Aging, Adult and Behavioral Health Services. The services to be delivered from a community Senior Adult Center are Congregate Meals, Home- Delivered Meals, Transportation, Socialization, and Health Promotion.
All Letters of Intent to Bid must be submitted on Area Agency on Aging forms and in accordance with the Area Agency on Aging Letter of Intent to Bid specifications. Letters of Intent packets may be obtained Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., at the Area Agency on Aging Office located at 709 East 8th Ave Pine Bluff AR 71601 or by calling (870)543-6300.
Letters of Intent to Bid must be received no later than 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 20, 2023. The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable equal employment opportunity laws and regulations. The Area Agency on Aging reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
