INVITATION FOR BID
ASBESTOS ABATEMENT
1. Hot Spring County invites sealed bids from ADEQ licensed asbestos abatement contractors for the Mechanical System Upgrade Asbestos Abatement, located in the Hot Spring County Courthouse at 210 Locust Street in Malvern, AR. The work consists of removal of asbestos pipe insulation and boiler insulation from the basement, 1st and 2nd floors in the building.
2. PDF copies of the bid documents may be obtained free of charge by request to the design professional: Philip Zabel ( philip@impactei.com ). The bid documents will be available beginning January 18, 2023.
3. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on January 26, 2023 at 4:30 PM at the Hot Spring County Courthouse at 210 Locust Street in Malvern, Arkansas. Hard copies of the bid documents will not be made available to the bidders at the Pre-Bid Conference. Bidders must attend the pre-bid conference to be eligible to submit a bid.
4. All Bids must be submitted on the Bid Form included in the bid documents and accompanied with the following documents: Certificate of Insurance; Arkansas General Contractor’s License; and ADEQ License.
5. Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 PM on February 6, 2023 at the Hot Spring County Courthouse, County Judge’s Office at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Sealed bids shall be mailed or hand delivered to: Judge Dennis Thornton, 210 Locust Street, Malvern, AR 72104. Faxed or email bids will not be accepted. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Hot Spring County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in bidding.
