NOTICE TO BIDDERS
University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff is requesting Sealed Bids from qualified licensed contractors to execute the scope of work for preventative roof maintenance on the UAPB campus.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting for this project will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, S.J. Parker 1890 Extension Complex - Conference Room, 2300 L.A. Prexy Davis Drive, Pine Bluff, Arkansas. This meeting will begin promptly at 2:00 PM local time. All potential bidders must attend this meeting to be eligible to submit a bid.
Bidder questions will be received and responded to until 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 13, 2023.
Sealed bids will be received on Thursday, February 23, 2023, until 2:00 PM. Bids may be mailed or delivered to the UAPB Procurement Department, Room 102 Administration Building, 1200 North University, Pine Bluff, Arkansas, hereinafter termed UAPB. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the time and date mentioned. Interested parties are invited to attend.
BID DOCUMENTS: The official version of the complete set of the Contract documents should be examined and are obtainable from the Cromwell Architects Engineers. Bidders may access complete electronic documents through the Cromwell Virtual Plan Room / Print Shop website. Contact: ThePRINTSHOP at www.theprintshoplr.com ; 1304 East 6th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72202; Telephone (501) 400-1006. The plan room is completely FREE to access and view Drawings and Specifications. Hard copies of the Project Manual and Drawings may also be purchased for a non-refundable fee at the PRINTSHOP.
Bidders, subcontractor, suppliers, and others who obtain plans directly from any other source are fully responsible for obtaining all necessary documents for a complete bid. This includes the verification and incorporation of addenda or revision bulletins, prior to bidding the project.

All Bid Proposals must be submitted on an unaltered or modified copy of the Bid Forms provided in the project manual. Bidders may photocopy these forms. The entire manual does not need to be submitted with the bids. Faxed Bid Proposals, Phone Quotes, and Email Quotes will not be accepted.
A 5% Bid Bond or Cashier’s Check is required.
Bids must include the cost of Performance Bond and Payment Bond.
Bidders shall conform to the requirements of the Arkansas licensing laws and regulations for contractors and shall be licensed before a bid is submitted.
Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any formalities.
