Sealed Bids for the East Crossett Sewer Improvements Contract 2 will be received by the City of Crossett, 201 Main St, Crossett, AR 71635 until 2:00 PM local time on June 20, 2023 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project generally consists of constructing a new access roadway, approximately 1,100 GPM sanitary sewer lift station, manholes, air/vacuum valves, appurtenances, restoration including all associated materials and labor for a complete project. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is:

Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the office of City of Crossett, 201 Main St, Crossett, AR 71635 on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.; and the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The Contract Documents may also be examined at the following:

Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, during the hours indicated above, or online at www.cristengineers.com , upon payment of $200 for each set. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Any contract or contracts awarded under this invitation for bids will be subject to the requirements of the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA) Contracting Provisions for Construction Projects as described in the contract documents. Bidders shall be certified/listed with a unique entity id on the website www.SAM.gov and shall not appear on the excluded parties list.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President’s Executive Order 11246, as amended. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors under this order are explained in the specifications.
Each Bidder shall be certified/listed on the website www.SAM.gov and shall not appear on the excluded parties list as well as comply with the requirements, terms, and conditions of the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration, the Disadvantaged, Minority and Women Business Enterprise (DBE/MBE/WBE) requirements, the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2014 (Public Law 113-76) including the "American Iron and Steel (AIS)" requirement, Labor Standards and Equal Employment Opportunity during the performance of this contract. The Bidder commits itself to the requirements for the participation contained herein and all other requirements, terms, and conditions of these bid conditions by submitting a properly signed Bid. Each requirement listed above for the EDA Contracting Provisions for Construction Projects are provided in Appendix 1 of the Contract Documents.
