Sealed Bids for the East Crossett Sewer Improvements Contract 1 will be received by the City of Crossett, 201 Main St, Crossett, AR 71635 until 2:00 PM local time on June 20, 2023, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project generally consists of constructing approximately 11,250 LF of sanitary sewer and 14,500 LF of force main utilities, including auger borings, manholes, air/vacuum valves, appurtenances, restoration including all associated materials and labor for a complete project. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is:

Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the office of City of Crossett, 201 Main St, Crossett, AR 71635 on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.; and the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30p.m. The Contract Documents may also be examined at the following:

Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, during the hours indicated above or online at www.cristengineers.com , upon payment of $225.00 for each set. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Any contract or contracts awarded under this invitation for bids will be subject to the requirements of the Arkansas Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) Programs as described in the contract documents.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President’s Executive Order 11246, as amended. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors under this order are explained in the specifications.
Each Bidder must comply with the requirements, terms, and conditions of the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission, the Disadvantaged, Minority and Women Business Enterprise (DBE/MBE/WBE) requirements, the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2014
(Public Law 113-76) including the "American Iron and Steel (AIS)" requirement, Labor Standards, Equal Employment Opportunity, and the “Prohibition on certain telecommunication and video surveillance services or equipment provisions” during the performance of this contract. The Bidder commits itself to the requirements for the participation contained herein and all other requirements, terms, and conditions of these bid conditions by submitting a properly signed Bid. Each requirement listed above for the RLF programs are provided in Appendix 1 of the Contract Documents.
