The NE Yell County Water Department (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

Water Main Extension: Aztec & Cricket Lanes
Project Number: 24RU40002 & 24RU40003
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the NE Yell County Water Department located at 2443 Highway 22, Dardanelle, AR 72834 until 11:00 A.M. local time on March 14, 2024, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with deductive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Southern Reprographics, Inc., 901 West 7th Street, Little Rock, AR, 72201; Ph: (501) 372-4011, FAX: (501) 372-2902. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.
Bidding Documents also may be examined at the office of the Engineer, OWN, Inc., 111 North Front Street, Dardanelle, Arkansas 72834 on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Any questions related to the project shall be referred to the Engineer and submitted in writing.
Printed Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office either via in-person pick-up or via mail, upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment for the Bidding Documents. The non-refundable cost of printed Bidding Documents is cost of reproduction, shipping, and handling, per set, payable to “Southern Reprographics,” plus a non-refundable shipping charge. Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder’s delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders.
OWNER hereby notifies all bidders that this contract is subject to applicable labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws, and other federal laws including the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938. The Work Hours Act of 1962 and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 also apply. BIDDERS ARE ADVISED that Arkansas State Contractor Licensing Law applies to this project. Subcontractors are also required to be licensed according to Arkansas State Law. Licensure is not required to submit a bid; however, evidence of licensure shall be provided to the Owner prior to signing the contract. The project is not federally funded and demonstrating the Six Good Faith Efforts to identify and solicit DBE firms for the procurement of project construction, equipment, services, and supplies is not a requirement, but is highly encouraged for all participants.
