REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
City Corporation, operators of the Russellville Water and Sewer System in Russellville, Arkansas, invites interested responsible parties to provide a proposal for the removal and disposal of the Water Treatment Plant residuals. The project will consist of but not be limited to the removal and disposal of water treatment residuals from two storage ponds having a total surface area of approximately 2.66 acres and an approximate total volume of 3,083,000 gallons with an approximate total of 518 dry tons of solids.
Specific information can be obtained by contacting City Corporation’s Engineering Department’s Engineering Director, Zayne Bryson. Potential proposers must email zbryson@citycorporation.com stating their interest in the project and will in turn get confirmation from Zayne Bryson that notice of interest has been received. Any subsequently issued Addenda to this RFP will be sent to all confirmed proposers that have indicated interest in the project to Zayne Bryson. It will be the proposer’s responsibility to make the Engineering Director aware if confirmation has not been received of the proposer’s interest. An original and four (4) copies of the proposal must be submitted to City Corporation at 205 West Third Place, Russellville, AR 72801 or P. O. Box 3186, Russellville, AR 72811. Sealed, bonded proposals will be accepted until 10:00 AM, CT, June 20, 2023. Contractors submitting proposals must possess an Arkansas state contractor’s license, furnish a bid bond, be able to furnish a performance and payment bond, provide a financial statement, and a verifiable statement of experience and references, and an equipment schedule more fully defined in the Request for Proposal. City Corporation encourages the participation of DBE/WBE/MBE businesses in its procurement process and activity.
This is a request for proposals not a request for bids. There will not be a formal bid opening. It is the sole responsibility of the submitter to see that their proposal is submitted on time. Any proposal received after the deadline will not be considered and will be held unopened.
City Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any informalities in the procedures, or to cancel the solicitation if it is in the best interest of City Corporation.
This RFP is not to be construed as a commitment of any kind; nor does it commit City Corporation to pay for any costs incurred in the preparation or submission of a proposal or for any other costs incurred prior to the execution of a formal contract.
