NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE A REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR DESIGN PROFESSIONAL
State Crime Laboratory Forensic Facility

The Arkansas State Crime Laboratory is soliciting responses from qualified consultants to provide basic professional design services as defined by the TSS/Division of Building Authority Minimum Standards and Criteria (MSC) for the architectural design and construction of a new forensic laboratory located at Camp Joseph T. Robinson, in North Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
This project would consist of architectural design and construction of a new forensic laboratory to include a Medical Examiner morgue. The facility will be approximately 189,000 square feet.
A detailed request for qualifications (RFQ) package will be provided to interested parties outlining the submittal requirements and selection methodology. Responses received for this RFQ will be used to screen prospective consultants and select finalist for interview in accordance with the MSC. The Agency reserves the right to award one or more contracts under this solicitation and to negotiate fees on a percentage basis, lump sum basis or an hourly not-to-exceed basis on individual project assignments as appropriate for the contemplated work.
The deadline for submitting detailed responses to this RFQ will be 4:30 P.M. CST on 07/24/2023.
