Please be advised that the Spring 2023 commitment date for fertilizer purchases from the City of Fayetteville Biosolids Management Site will be Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 8:30 AM, local time. The commitment will only be taken via telephone by calling 479-587-7128, following the directions described below:

Commitments will not be taken until 8:30 a.m.; on a first call first serve basis. The designated phone will be un-plugged the day before and will not be plugged back in until such time. Deviation from the normal telephone process will not be accepted (for example, emergency connection through operator).

Commitment quantities of fertilizer shall be in tons, with the minimum commitment being ¼ ton. The maximum commitment allowed will be 100 tons per customer.

After the Commitment List has been filled, caller’s name and request will be added to the Standby List, also on a first call first serve basis. The Standby List will be utilized when the Commitment List has been satisfied.

This Commitment List and associated Standby List shall be valid from March 1, 2023 to August 31, 2023.

Due to the nature of the fertilizer production, the City will strive to meet the commitment tonnage, but make no guarantees.
The prices for the fertilizer are set for the period of March 1, 2023 to August 31, 2023 as follows:

Small Bulk (1/4 ton to 1 ton) – $80 per ton (minimum purchase of $20, regardless of the purchase amount)

Medium Bulk (> 1 ton to 20 tons) – $50 per ton

Large Bulk (> 20 tons to 100 tons) – $20 per ton
Customers will be notified when their commitment is available.
Five (5) business days will be allowed for fertilizer to be picked up from the date of acceptance. A list of haulers will be provided upon request for convenience. Payment, in the form of a check, cashier’s check, or money order, payable to City of Fayetteville, is due at the time fertilizer is received.
** Due to equipment outages, fulfillment of customer’s commitment may be delayed. **
The hours of the Biosolids Management Site operation will be Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., except for holidays, or scheduled obligation. For further inquiries, please call (479) 587-7128.

Invoices will be issued and mailed the following month after taking possession of the product and will be due within 30 calendar days of the of the invoice date specified on the invoice. If payment is not received by the due date, you will receive a pink delinquent notice. If the payment is not received within 30 calendar days of the delinquent notice date, the balance will be forwarded to Collection Bureau of America for collection and this may affect your ability to purchase additional products from the Biosolids Management Site. Payment on your invoice must be made to the City of Fayetteville using any of the following methods.
• In Person - Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm at the cashier window located inside the Fayetteville Administration Building on 113 W Mountain St with cash, check, money order, or debit/credit card. Only Visa, MasterCard, and Discover are accepted
• Mail - Send checks payable to the City of Fayetteville to City of Fayetteville, 113 W Mountain St, Fayetteville, AR 72701.
• Night Deposit Boxes - Payments can be dropped in night deposit boxes located across the street or on the wall west of the front door of the Fayetteville Administration Building.
• Online- Visit fayetteville-ar.gov and select “Make a Payment” from the menu on the left. Select “Pay Your Miscellaneous Invoice”. You will be required to create an online account. Only Visa, MasterCard, and Discover debit or credit card payments are accepted online. There is no service charge or convenience fee for paying online.
