The City of Siloam Springs will be accepting statements of qualifications for Architectural Services for the Community Development Department until 3:00 p.m. CST on January 9, 2023, in the City Annex Building, 410 North Broadway, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

Hand delivered packets may be delivered to Brandy Rowbotham, 410 N. Broadway, Siloam Springs, AR 72761. Mailed packets shall be sent to PO Box 80, Siloam Springs, Arkansas 72761, Attn: Community Development Administrative Assistant –Architectural Services, but must be delivered to the City by the above time and date.

The City shall compare the qualifications of each submittal when projects arise that need architectural services and award the contract to the highest qualified and lowest priced party if the best interests of the City would be served thereby. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and to waive non-prejudicial irregularities.

The City of Siloam Springs, hereafter referred to as the City, is soliciting written Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms and individuals to provide professional architectural services, for construction projects that may come up during the 2023 and 2024 calendar years.

The SOQ’s will be used for selection of architects for projects that may be planned for design in 2023 or 2024. Please submit one (1) paper copy of statement of qualifications. Submissions shall be received no later than 3:00 pm on Monday, January 9, 2023.

The name and address of the firm shall be on the outside of the package, as well as identifying verbiage ‘Architectural Services’.

In evaluating the qualifications of each firm, the following shall be considered:
1. The specialized experience and technical competence of the firm with respect to the type of professional services required;
2. The capacity and capability of the firm to perform the work in question, including specialized services, within the time limitations fixed for the completion of the project;
3. The past record of performance of the firm with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, and ability to meet schedules and deadlines; and
4. The firm's proximity to and familiarity with the area in which the project is located.

Proposers should structure their responses to follow this sequence where possible.
