The City of Siloam Springs will be accepting sealed bids for Maxwell Street 18-inch Sewer Interceptor until 2:00 PM CST on November 16, 2023 at the Public Works Building, 1000 East Ashley, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, 72761 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

Addendums to the bid package will be issued through the online MCE Plan Holders List; therefore, all prime bidders shall be responsible for downloading the bid documents from the MCE online plan room in order to be included in the Plan Holders List and submit a bid.
Bidders must enter the addenda numbers in the Proposal to verify receipt.
The project consists of constructing approximately 1,100 feet of new 18-inch diameter sanitary sewer interceptor along Maxwell Street near downtown Siloam Springs, between Main Street and Flint Place.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for all interested bidders on November 1, 2023 at 1:00 PM CST, in the Public Works Building, 1000 East Ashley, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, 72761. All interested contractors are strongly encouraged to attend.
In order to perform public work, the successful Bidder shall, as applicable, hold such Contractor's and Business Licenses as required by State statutes and the Rules and Regulations of the Arkansas Contractor's Licensing Board.
The City shall open and compare the bids and thereafter award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, but only if it is in the opinion of the City that the best interests of the City would be served thereby.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which shall not exceed 90 days from the bid opening date.
