Notice of Intent to Sole-Source: The 19th Contracting Squadron (CONS) –Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas 72099, intends to award on a sole-source basis, a contract to Advantor Systems Corporation for the install of the Visitor Control Center Access Control. 19 SFS is in need of Access Control at the Visitor Center that shall be integrated into the current Advantor SFXi Access Control and Badging System. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR Part 13. Based on current market research, Advantor systems are proprietary and require installation and service by Advantor-certified personnel to ensure regulatory compliance, proper system operation, and maintain warranty status. Therefore, making them the sole source capable of fulfilling this requirement.

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. If no affirmative written response is received, the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
