UV/VIS Spectrophotometer for dosimeter

The USDA, ARS, Poultry Production and Product Safety Research Unit needs a dosimeter to conduct research studies on measuring the actual dose delivered on the material by the electron beam. Especially for vaccine preparation, we would use this dosimeter to determine the dose used for the inactivation of Salmonella, Campylobacter, and other pathogens.

The UV/VIS Spectrophotometer should have the potential to measure the dosimeters used with low energy electron beam (200 kV). It should measure the optical absorbance of dosimeters using a single wavelength in the UV/VIS spectrum. The software should be intuitive and easy to use. It should be able to hold dosimeters for different types of radiochromic film. It should have a barcode scanner for scanning B3 dosimeter IDs, and a laser micrometer for measuring the thickness of perspex dosimeters.

Quotes are due: 3/7/2023 at 8:00am (CT)
