UA-PTC is located within a half mile of the lodging facilities at the LETC campus. This close proximity allows LETC to maximize the limited resources to a facility that has adequate resources for providing daily meals, training space, driving track, and graduation hall. This provides for better instructor coordination in the event of needing supplies or additional course material. Furthermore, having the course located at UA-PTC greatly reduces training space needs, logistical problems with travel, and lost training time. UA-PTC operates the campus dining facility. UA-PTC provides a full range of institutional food service capabilities. The University provides both on-site and off-site services for the UA-PTC campus. Because all of the students are in temporary duty (TDY) status, these LETC trainees do not have routine access to transportation. The courses being taught will be held at UA-Pulaski Technical College. UA PTC has its dining facility on campus and does not permit other entities to set up and provide food services on campus. The UA-PTC dining facility is the only facility meeting that requirement, and as such they are the only source that can fulfill the requirement.
