Description
The LETC requests information on service pistols in varying sizes for uniform and plain clothes carry in anticipation of the future acquisition for the OSP, OS&LE, and VHA s field agencies.

This Request for Information (RFI) aims to provide manufacturers and dealers with sufficient information regarding the OS&LE requirements. The information provided by manufacturers and dealers will be used to determine which service pistol(s) meet the minimum standards of the OS&LE. The OS&LE plans to acquire service pistol(s), meeting the needs listed in section C for testing and evaluation.

It is agreed and understood that Responses to this RFI and subsequent testing and evaluation process documentation are working documents under consideration and are not subject to Public Records laws.

Only communication initiated and requested by the LETC is permissible. Any communication by a respondent (or any of its agents) is prohibited with the LETC staff during this evaluation process. It may result in the respondent being removed from the testing and evaluation process and further consideration. The LETC may request demonstrations of products and services.
